Acronis Installation Was Interrupted Problem How Do I Transfer All My Laptop Data To My Desktop?

How do I transfer all my laptop data to my desktop? - acronis installation was interrupted problem

I like to give my Dell Latitude laptop for my nephew.

What is the best way to transfer all data from the laptop on my desktop?

I intend to format the hard drive and install Windows XP installation disk.

I have both Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image, if you assist in the transfer.

Thank you.

I want to buy an external hard drive, the same size as the desktop. Move all the files and folders it contains. Then copy, not move on the desktop. Keep the outside as a backup. Remember to save regularly since then. Hope this helps. Good luck.

You need an external USB hard drive to all the important files you need to copy. or perhaps try to remove the portable hard drive and it on the desktop (dock and E: D: or F: drive on your desktop)

Using Norton Ghost is a big problem, because its moments) (already known.

LOL I have my width rid) i'de argue that using a USB flash drive is the best choice: 3 feel my old laptop can not burn a CD: P may be a flash drive smaller and just keep going back and, if concerned about the price lol

Easiest way would be for the two computers on the network and copy the files on your desktop using a file share.
